Blitz PRs media training seminars can be organised as a standalone session, a refresher course or can be built into pre-press tour activity.
Strategy and Plan
Blitz PRs media training consists of an informal, bespoke session lasting 0.5 - two days. The media training can be handled on a one-to-one basis, but is more frequently held in small groups of around six people. The morning comprises of an introduction to the media and focuses on the roles of editorial staff in a magazine along with a discussion of what makes the headlines. There is also some journalist profiling as well as some brainstorming sessions on the subject of the physical aspects of a press briefing. This is followed by a more specific discussion on the clients relevant target media.
With longer sessions, Blitz PR works with clients on their messaging and presentations and will devise more appropriate and difficult Q&A sessions. If appropriate, Blitz PR also organises spoof interviews - which usually take place in front of the client group so that all members of the client organisation can demonstrate what they have learnt. These sessions can also be filmed and analysed. Blitz PR can also handle media training for broadcast TV and radio.
